With a Youth Choice Checking account, Sierra Central offers no monthly service fees, until the age of 25, at which point the account will convert to our regular Choice Checking account, which has a selection of options for members to choose from!
*For members 13-17 years of age, a joint owner (parent or legal guardian), over the age of 18, is required to open up a Checking account.
With a Minor Savings account, Members under the age of 18 can begin their banking experience with this account.

This account is set up in the name of the minor and the social security number of the minor with a parent or legal guardian as the co-signer. When the minor reaches the age of 18 the account is transferred to a regular Savings account. You can deposit your allowance, gifts from family or friends from birthdays or holidays, and those hard-earned dollars from babysitting or mowing lawns.
